  Over a period of 18 months, Infuscience overbilled my insurance by submitting reports with the wrong billing code. This has been verified by my health insurance provide.
  
  This systematic medical billing fraud resulted in my paying hundreds of dollars for on-site infusions that should have cost $15 per visit, my medical copay. The last bill I received was for $913 for one appointment.
  
  Trying to straighten this out has been a nightmare. Their billing office says that this is the fault of the nursing staff; the local infusion site says this is the fault of the billing office. "We'll look into it" is the only answer I can get.
  
  The last thing I was told--after 18 months of trying to fix this problem after I severed by relationship with Infuscience/BioScrip--is that this is "not a mom-and-pop company" and "we don't do things like that." Apparently, you did.
